This sentence sums up by itself the essence of the project: to expand the Power to Players beyond the single Role-play and finally give the Ryzom community means to act on the game itself.

What is Ryzom Forge?
Ryzom Forge is an ambitious collaborative project open to the gaming community and the open source community, in partnership with Winch Gate and volunteers from the Ryzom team.The partnership already established with the Khaganat project (http://khaganat.net) since the design stage of the Ryzom Forge project, has proven to us the relevance of the ambition of an opening to the open source community.
The design of this project is planned in progressive stages, each bringing its own addition to the game:
- The first step, the simplest, is to enrich available apartment items.
- The second step is to take advantage of the mastery of adding objects to create new equipable items.
- The third stage, more elaborate, and also requiring a good deal of work on the tribes "level design" side, will be to create new weapon patterns available through tribe rites.
- The final stage, called New Zone project will be the creation of a new game area.
WARNING! We cannot guarantee that the final stage can be reached, or even that the first will be achieved. But we want to give you the means to meet the challenge and to be at your side to move it forward as far as possible.

Do you dream to furnish and decorate your guild hall? If so, this message is for you!
Guild halls will finally be able to be furnished!
A call is made to all Cabinetmakers, Taxidermists, Sculptors and other artists, but also to all those who have ideas to share, gather around Ryzom Forge to create future objects that will decorate our guild halls.
Additional objects for guild halls, can be added in the same way as for apartments, requiring no patch to be implemented as and when they are created.
What will be the first object you decorate your hall with?
REMINDER: all Ryzom Forge creations will have a CC-by-SA licence.

Projects
Here are the different groups of the project:
- Admin/SysOp: management of that website and help for users. (In French only for now. Translation is welcome.)
- ARK: integration of the missions created by the Level Design group.
- Communication & Marketing : management of the communication and of the internal coordination.
- Development: creation of programms, providing the Ryzom and NEL tools from RyzomCore for the various platforms, integration of the creations in a set exportable to the Ryzom server.
- Ideas: management of the ideas posted on Ryzom Forge Wiki and on the "Ideas" forum.
- Infographic: Full implementation (from modeling to animation) of integrated and supported by Nel/Client assets.
- Level-Design: design of the environment, scenarios and missions that will be added in game.
- Tests: tests.
- Support: information about support for the different OS: Linux, Mac, Windows.
- Translation : translations of the wiki, documents and ingame new contents.
- Tutoriels: writing of the documentation needed to reproduce the processes.

There is no little contribution, no specific skill requirement, everyone can contribute, learn and improve the project.

Ryzom Forge, le projet collaboratif.
" La richesse de Ryzom, c'est ce que les joueurs et ceux qui l'aiment peuvent lui apporter. Pour cela, il faut leur en donner les moyens et l'occasion."
Cette phrase résume à elle seule l'essence du projet : élargir le Power to Players au-delà du seul Roleplay et donner enfin à la communauté de Ryzom les moyens d'agir sur le jeu lui-même.

Qu'est-ce que Ryzom Forge ?
Ryzom Forge est un projet collaboratif ambitieux, ouvert à la communauté du jeu et la communauté libre, en partenariat avec WinchGate et avec des bénévoles de l'Équipe Ryzom. Le partenariat, d'ores et déjà mis en place avec le projet Khaganat (http://khaganat.net) dès la conception du projet, nous prouve la pertinence de l'ambition d'ouverture à la communauté libre.
Il est prévu de construire ce projet en plusieurs étapes progressives, chacune apportant son propre ajout au jeu :
- La première étape, la plus simple, consistera à enrichir les appartements de nouveaux objets.
- La seconde étape consistera à profiter de la maitrise sur l'ajout d'objets pour proposer des objets équipables inédits.
- La troisième étape, plus élaborée, et qui demandera aussi un travail du côté "level design" des tribus, sera de proposer des plans d'armes via des rites de tribus.
- La dernière étape, nommée projet New Zone, consistera en la création d'une nouvelle zone de jeu.
ATTENTION ! Nous ne pouvons pas certifier que la dernière étape sera atteinte, ni que la première sera dépassée. Mais nous souhaitons vous donner les moyens de relever le défi et serons à vos côtés pour le faire avancer aussi loin que possible.

Vous rêvez de meubler et décorer votre hall de guilde ? Alors ce message est pour vous :
Les halls de guilde vont enfin pouvoir être meublés !
Un appel est donc lancé à tous les ébénistes, taxidermistes, sculpteurs et autres artistes, mais aussi à tous ceux ayant des idées à partager, à se regrouper autour de Ryzom Forge afin de créer les futurs objets qui orneront nos halls.
Les ajouts d'objets de halls, comme ceux d'appartements, ne nécessitant aucun patch, seront implémentés au fur et à mesure de leur création.
Quel sera le premier objet à orner nos halls ?
RAPPEL : toutes les créations de Ryzom Forge sont sous licence CC-by-SA.

- Administration / Assistance : administration de ce wiki et assistance à ses utilisateurs.
- ARK : intégration des rites et missions créées par le pôle Level Design, aide technique à l'Event Team.
- Communication & Marketing : gestion de la communication générale et de la coordination interne.
- Développement : création de programmes, mise à disposition des outils Ryzom et NEL de RyzomCore pour les différentes plateformes, intégration des créations dans un ensemble exportable vers le serveur de Ryzom.
- Event : scénarisation et organisation d'events.
- Infographie : réalisation d'assets intégrables et supportés par le NeL/Client. Concept/design, modélisation, texturing, rigging/skinning, animation...
- Lore : mise à jour et enrichissement du Wiki Lore.

- Musique : création de nouveaux sons et musiques pour Ryzom.
- Support : informations sur le Support sous les différents OS : Linux, Mac, Windows.

Il n'y a pas de petite contribution, pas d'obligation d'avoir des compétences précises, tout le monde peut participer, apprendre et améliorer le projet.
